Hello and Christmas greetings from Kay and Steve!

We were slightly better at updates this year - having done one in August. If you missed it, you can find it here.

Since our last update it’s been busy, with November being the busiest month of all!

It was wonderful to be able to have a two week break in our usual favourite place in Norfolk overlooking the sea.

The photo is of Steve feeding some of the local wildlife in Norfolk, a family of sheep, whilst we were on Holiday.

Ministry really has been a blessing over the last couple of months:

The One Way Uk ‘Equip Festival’ was lovely - especially having missed the previous year due to Steve being poorly. We delivered 7 workshop between us - working separately with our different specialities.

As soon as we finished the Equip Festival, we drove up to Blackpool for the FIEC Leaders’ Conference, where Kay was speaking on Neurodivergence in the church.

The feedback has been hugely encouraging from the Leaders' conference, and now the session is out as a podcast/download Kay is getting more messages and contact from people who couldn't attend her session.

Also encouraging was the number of people attending the session! Kay usually has around 20 people turn up to conference seminars on disability and additional needs, but the room was packed out with extra chairs being added!

Over the following weeks Kay has worked with Scripture Union, Church of Ireland and various free churches.

There have been many meetings, including with Spring Harvest, Keswick ministries and the Hand in Hand conference.

Next year is already looking busy with many weekends taken up with training events and conferences through January, February and March.

We will be serving at Spring Harvest in Minehead again next year and will also be serving at the Keswick Convention for all three weeks - adding to her year round role with both organisations as disability and additional needs advisor.

Health wise, Steve is still doing really well on the new(ish) heart tablets.

This time last year Kay had been waiting for over a year for an eye clinic appointment. Having finally seen a consultant early in the year, it resulted in a multi-disciplinary meeting with two different eye specialists and a optical neurologist.

This was very helpful - even if it did show a consistent misdiagnosis for over 30 years! The key diagnosis is a combination of 3 things causing havoc in her eyes and facial nerves, along with the added complication of her current disabilities.

But, we keep going! Whatever issues we face we face them together and the ministry continues to be a blessing and an encouragement.

Please do keep in touch - we love to hear from people!

Blessings

Steve and Kay x
