Wear Your Crown Well

Silhouette of a child wearing a crown.

From the Bible:

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God by believing in Christ.

From Galatians chapter 3 verse 26

We have a post card in our office that says "Always wear your invisible crown".

It reminds us that as Christians, we are children of God the Father - the Heavenly King. As children of the King, we should act like we are children of the King.

This is what we will be pondering in this prayer.

Two small wooden cutout crowns on a person's hand.
A paper crown made from gold paper.
A white stone with a gold crown painted on it.

We have little crowns cut out of wood for this prayer, but sometimes we use paper crowns instead - the sort you find in a christmas cracker (all bought on E-bay).

You could even use a stone with a crown painted or drawn on it.

For fun, we also have an inflatable crown!

Just go with what works for you, even if it's a picture of a crown.

Pray:

Loving God and King.

Thankyou that you are King of my life.

Help me today to act, think and speak as a child of a king should, and show the amazing King I serve to others by the way I live.

Be with me today as I wear my 'invisible crown'.

Amen
