Being Grateful And Remembering To Say Thankyou To God
You will need:
What The Bible Says:
Lord, I will give thanks to you with all my heart.
I will tell about all the wonderful things you have done.
Psalm 9 verse 1
Ponder:
We always say thank you for good things....or if we don't, we should!
Some of us might write or draw a thankyou letter when we are given presents.
Sometimes we might give some chocolate sweets if someone has done something really nice for us.
It’s good to be thankful. Especially for all the things God has given us or helped us with.
What are you thankful for?
A person, food, a pet, where you live, something you’ve done?
Maybe an answer to something you prayed about?
Prepare:
We’re going to make a prayer sweets!
With the square of paper, do what helps you to say thankyou:
Now screw up your piece of paper into a ball and put it on top of the paper that will become the 'sweet wrapper
Now roll the 'sweet wrapper' around the screwed up prayer and then twist the ends to make is look like a sweet.
Now place your 'sweet' into the a bowl with all the others as you say your prayer.
