Thankful Prayer - Bubbles

Praying Thankful Prayers With Bubbles

You Will Need:

Some bubble liquid and something to blow the bubbles with.

You could even make some with washing up liquid and shape some wire if you want to!

Theo the pink platypus puppet with reading glasses perched on his beak.
He's looking at a Biblica accessible Bible.

From the Bible:

Never stop praying.

Give thanks no matter what happens.

1 Thessalonians Chapter 5: Verses 17 & 18 (NIRV)

Ponder:

Have you ever clapped because you liked what someone had done and you were thankful?

Maybe someone in a talent show, an actor in a really good drama or someone who has won a race?

There are lots of things to be thankful for:

3 line drawing children. One holding a picture they have drawn, one banging a drum and the other holding a football on their shoulder.

Your favourite pet, instrument or toy.

Your favourite food or sweets!

three line drawing children. One holding a picture of a rainbow, One on a skateboard and one holding a large jigsaw puzzle piece.

Best games or activities of any kind.

Line drawing people. Two grandparents and a child holding a drawing of their house.

Any of your grownups or your home.

Ponder Some More:
What do you want to thank God for? There are so many things!
Have a chat with your grown-up about it if you want to.

Pray:
We are going to thank God by clapping our hands over the bubbles to burst them.

Ask someone to blow some bubbles for you – enough for everyone taking part!
Clap your hands over the bubbles and burst them.
As you do this, shout, sign or whisper what you want to say thank you for with each clap.
